Resources and support to students that have been in foster care.
- Experienced time in foster care on or after 14th birthday (or been in placement such as relative, group home, shelter, independent living, or delinquency supervised by DHHS)
- Age 20 and under
- Enrolled or prospective WCC students
Career & Technical
Helps students navigate the college, and connect with internal & external resources.
Specific to prospective and enrolled WCC CTE students
Helps students enrolled in specific classes navigate the college and connect with internal & external resources.
Specific to WCC students enrolled in:
- ACS 107/ACS 108
- ENG 090/091 & BMG 140
- MATH 067, 094 AND 097
Online Coach for students in selected Gateway Courses
Assist students with completing their GED and short-term post-secondary training in designated credit certificate programs.
Specific to enrolled WCC Adult Transition students completing both their GED and select industry training certificate programs
Provides a dedicated Success Coach for students awarded an A2 Community Foundation scholarship to attend any 2- or 4-year college.
Recent high school graduates enrolled at WCC and awarded A2 Community Foundation scholarship
Eases the transition to WCC and help students identify and develop the skills needed to meet educational and career goals.
Any student who has completed less than 12 college credit hours from any college can apply. Students must be planning to complete at least one year at WCC.
