WCC’s Student Resource Center (SRC) offers you one-on-one partnership and educational planning with an SRC Professional. This partnership can continue as long as you are enrolled at WCC. The SRC has several grants to help pay for tuition, textbooks, childcare and bus tokens.
Carl Perkins Grant
You may be eligible for the Carl Perkins Grant if you are enrolled in an occupational program. Come talk to us. We may be able to provide assistance with tuition, textbooks and childcare costs. Read more about the Carl Perkins Grant.
Child Care Scholarships
These scholarships provide partial assistance with the WCC Child Care Center and licensed off-campus childcare centers.

Student Emergency Food Pantry
The food pantry at Washtenaw Community College is designed to assist students who are facing food insecurity, and could use a little assistance. To be eligible to receive items from the emergency food pantry, students must be currently enrolled in credit classes at Washtenaw Community College. Currently enrolled students can receive two bags of food or hygiene, twice a semester. At that time, the student will also be provided a current list of active food banks and hot meal availability in the community. Student Emergency Fund
The Student Emergency Fund (SEF) is designated to assist WCC students with emergencies that occur during the semester. The maximum annual award is $500 per student upon availability of funds.
